Digital medical magazine for the CHUV

A true institution, the InVivo magazine published by the CHUV is a must for the medical profession. Initially on paper, the goal was to make it available online while keeping the experience as close to its original material.

The online version of InVivo magazine was the first site I worked on when I joined the Netinfluence agency.

Made in Typo 3, I fortunately only had the front-end to touch. The site was already well advanced when I joined the team, and I quickly realized the gap between the Web and print worlds, as well as the difficulty to make people understand the notion of responsive 😅.

The goal was to have an editorial site with a style extremely close to what users may encounter with the physical version of the magazine.

Here is an example of the very “print” style of an online article.

The development of the site went very well, as did the launch, and it allowed me to improve my knowledge of front-end development (and amplify my trauma with the different variants of IE).

By the way, not only the magazine is still online, but the editorial staff keeps producing new articles. So if you are interested in the medical or health field, it’s here: https://www.invivomagazine.com
