ErgoCycle is an ergotherapy company for professional cyclists, run by a true enthusiast. You can see it in his eyes, he has stars in his eyes whenever he talks about his work!
When I arrived, the site already existed, but was not maintained because it was difficult to use. As a result, the owner was struggling to promote his services and establish his online presence.
So I did a major facelift on the existing Wordpress, reviewed all the modules installed, and completely redid the entire process of booking and making appointments with management of time slots and remaining places.
The client liked royal blue and bright yellow, and wanted to find these colors on his site. But to avoid a parrot-like look, I opted for a theme reminiscent of the carbon fiber of bicycles, and used blue and yellow for the elements to be highlighted.
By the way, here is what the site looked like when we put the new version online.
I maintained the site and accompanied the client for several years, from writing articles to adding new features. And since he was an enthusiast with whom I got along well, I also gave a few hands with computers and IT in general, in exchange for a good meal 🍖.
Unfortunately with my full-time move to SQLI, I didn’t have so much time to be able to help him during my evenings and weekends, so I handed back the keys so he could turn to other developers to take over.
Today the site still exists! And even if the visual has not much in common with what I left when I went away, it’s nice to see that his business still works! So if you’re a bike lover and want to adapt your bike to your posture (and vice-versa), this is the place to go: https://www.ergocycle.ch
