I had the chance to work with Lausanne Tourisme, in order to promote the city of Lausanne.
Managed by a team of passionate people, it was very pleasant to work on this project, whose objective at this moment was rather ahead of its time, allowing at the same time to improve the visibility of the city on Internet, to give a younger and dynamic image while reinforcing its tourist side, with good places, magnificent landscapes and good restaurants at each corner, and to reinforce this dynamic side, to let the word to authors and influencers so that they can themselves write their articles and promote their vision and their good addresses.
Admit that for a site from almost 10 years ago and commissioned by a city, it was pretty innovative at the time 😁.

Being a blog, the site was made on Wordpress, which was clearly the perfect solution for this kind of site.
Available in 2 languages, with several types of content and articles written by Lausanne Tourisme themselves as well as external contributors, there was everything needed to offer an enjoyable experience, for local readers, tourists, and editors alike. Different categories to filter articles on a particular theme, the highlighting of authors and their articles, a publication workflow, a feed of the latest twitter, facebook and instagram messages related to the city of Lausanne, plenty of good addresses, meals, tourist routes, lots of beautiful photos… in short, a good site that knew how to be useful and enjoyable for everyone 😊.
